Michael White – Arborist, Owner & Community Supporter

Michael White is an arborist, business owner, and dedicated community supporter who lives in South Hill, Virginia with his wife, Treena White, who is also a business owner. Together, they believe strongly in giving back to the community that has supported their family and their businesses.
Through Michael’s work in the tree industry, he has developed a deep appreciation for both the land and the people who depend on it. For more than a decade, Michael has helped lead a firewood ministry through Treehuggers, providing free firewood to individuals and families who struggle to heat their homes during the winter months. What began as a simple way to help neighbors in need has grown into a long-standing act of service that has helped many throughout the region.
Michael and Treena are also passionate about community outreach through Treena’s Treehouse, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and uplifting individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. Through this work, they focus on creating opportunities for hope, encouragement, and practical support within their community.
As entrepreneurs and advocates for service, Michael and Treena believe strong communities are built when neighbors support one another. Together, they continue to invest their time, resources, and energy into initiatives that make a meaningful difference in South Hill and the surrounding communities.
